The Artist

Chris Tattoo grew up in London, a small town in England, where his childhood was shaped by a wide range of creative activities. From making music and drawing to designing and sewing his own clothes, Chris’s early life showcased his exploration of many different artistic forms.

When he was 17, he uncovered a strong interest in tattooing. Even though he was still underage, he began building his own tattoo machines and started practicing by tattooing his school friends and classmates.

At 20, Chris chose to step away from a conventional academic route and began an apprenticeship under tattoo artist Mason Clay at Inklanker Studio. By the age of 22, he had completed his training and was already gaining international recognition as one of the top tattoo artists.

Around the World

The recognition he received motivated him to travel widely, attending conventions and guesting at tattoo studios around the world. His path eventually brought him to Nuttifox Studios in London, where he accepted a position at the age of 25.
